Jenny Hahn is President of FD Associates, Inc., an export consulting firm specializing in ITAR & EAR licensing and compliance located in the Washington DC area. Jenny joined FD Associates in 1992, initially assisting the firm in domestic procurement for international clients and related export licensing obligations. Over the past 25+ years, Ms. Hahn has consulted with numerous small and medium size companies, both domestic and international, on their export licensing and compliance requirements. In the past decade, Ms. Hahn has conducted over 150 ITAR/EAR training programs and conducted over 50 export compliance audits including Department of State directed audits.

Ms. Hahn’s principal technology areas include aerospace parts and components, satellite parts and components, unmanned aerial vehicles/systems, night vision equipment, ballistic/armored equipment, firearms/ammunition, propulsion systems for missiles, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance equipment and various weapon systems. Ms. Hahn has volunteered at various Society for International Affairs events, directed the SIA Winter Basics Conference in 2013 and the Spring Advanced Conference in 2015 and assisted in the development of the original and updated version of the SIA exemptions handbook, Voluntary Disclosure handbook, Compliance Toolkit handbook and the 2013 and updated Mergers and Acquisitions guidelines.
