Internal and External Export Control Investigations WITH A FOCUS ON INDIA

WEDNESDAY | MARCH 3, 2021 | 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM EST | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM GMT | 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM IST

As the global economy slowly recovers from Covid-19 shakeups, it is critical that businesses through the supply chain think progressively and accept the risks involved in today’s changed circumstances. Despite the shift in management’s focus, as businesses struggle to re-invent themselves and even survive, compliance requirements and supply chain risks have only increased. The disruption caused by the virus expanded opportunities for both deliberate and inadvertent malfeasance. Any hint of a potential ‘red flag’ must be followed up with an assessment of potential risks and/or identification of mitigating factors. The enforcement authorities will undoubtedly be on the lookout for such lapses.

In this scenario, this webinar will be the right opportunity for you to examine:
  • How to ensure compliance through internal investigations/audits
  • Sufficiency of the internal compliance programs and those of the entities in the supply chains
  • How to manage external investigations
  • What to expect from the investigating authorities
Ameeta Duggal is an attorney in New Delhi and her focus will be on Export Control Investigation in India. Chuck Nagel, OCR's VP of International Operations will join the conversation and include the US and Global Perspective for internal investigations. This webinar will also provide a framework for users to learn compliance best practices. We hope you can join us for this International Event!
